For the longest time I was convinced that it’s better to use a theme that I designed myself – you know – to get it just right. ..and the list goes on. All the options are right there in the WordPress dashboard, and they can be edited at any point, for example if you want to test different coloring, update your header graphics, add new tracking code, etc.

After you’ve watched the tutorial videos available in the member section for the Affiliate Theme and done the customization once, you can do customization for your new site in a matter of minutes next time. Of course you have to plan longer than that and think about the coloring and what kind of header graphics to use, but actually turning the plan to reality is almost too simple with this theme. I say too simple, because I hate myself for using all the hours, if not days, for tweaking my old themes by hand before.

If you want or need to, of course you can edit the .php files all you want and make the theme just right for the specific website. I haven’t needed to do this on any of the niche sites I’ve put up, because it works so well just as it is, but it is great that the option is there if you run into a situation where you need to add that something special to your niche site. And looking at the support forum, the UBD crew even offer you tips to do YOUR OWN tweaks if needed to.
